So. I really don’t know how it happened, but when logging in on my account I just realized that I haven’t written in almost a month. Well, I guess other thing has stolen my time (like x-mas prep’s even if I don’t even like it, family, school and stuff like that) but maybe now, when it’s even new year it’s time for a little re-start. Don’t expect to much though, since I’ve a pretty big test in like 9 days or something like that but still I thougt it was nice just to drop in and say hello.
X-mas in Uppsala wasn’t really a snowy one. Actually it wasn’t any white at all. Green, green and a little of brown is all that you see wherever you go. And the temperature is almost like late Oct-Nov or Feb-March something. Which is very very weird. Well. Nice in some ways, absolutely. (For runners, for everyone who doesn’t like freezing and for those who like to go by bike.) But you also get this weird feeling that x-mas maybe never really happened this year. Because the x-mas-vacation always use to be snowy, and now; nothing. Also, it’s easy to understand that it must get colder sooner or later since it cannot be like this and then just start getting warmer since it’s still only January. And because of that it could of course’ve been nice to get those really freezing days during x-mas instead. Well. I’ll just stop complain. It’s really not a problem for me anyway.
I hope everyone else had a great x-mas, white or green!

Pink Burning Winter Sky, Uppsala, December 2013 (c) mbee
Without doubt the coolest sky I’ve seen so far this winter. I was a sitting in the library when I heard the girl sitting next to me whisper to her friend and pointing at the window, took a glance and went totally stunned. The whole sky was covered in dark pink and the view was marvelous. I ran out asap, but unfortunately I only had my phone, so this pic cannot give that view fairness, but no matter what, I just had to show you!
I already wrote about that sad day when my lense broke. What I didn’t wrote was that I put on another lense that I haven’t been using very much before. And this is some of what we discovered together in the autumn sun.

Going from a zoom lense to a single focal was pretty interesting actually. Haven’t used one of those in av very long time but I must admit, that besides the mourning from the 18-105, I had a lot of fun!

Didn’t post every photo I took last week when the heavy rain suddenly gave place to the most dramatical sky I’d seen in a while. Won’t post every single one now either, but I thougt this one was rather special. Actually this is another place in my town where the sky always seems to act in very interesting forms. (Wrote about the other place here.)
I hope you all will have a great weekend, myself I’ll spend this friday evening together with some cases…

// It’s always so funny when the forecast fails totally sveral days in a row. Especially when you’ve begged for a working shift for a Sunday with total persuasion that it will rain from a grey sky all day long and when except from a short rain in the afternoon that really heavy rain won’t show up until 9 pm… //
Yesterday should’ve been a grey, windy and rainy day but during a bike ride I made in the afternoon the reverse was proved.
